Terms of Service
Last updated: September 1, 2026
These Terms govern your use of Magis, operated by Magis Fitness LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. Please read them. If you do not agree with them, do not use Magis.
1. Magis is a fitness tool, not medical advice
Magis provides general fitness programming and suggestions based on the information you give us. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for professional medical care, diagnosis, or treatment. Magis is not a doctor, physical therapist, or healthcare provider, and no coach-client or provider-patient relationship is created by your use of Magis. Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare professional with any questions about a medical condition or before beginning, changing, or stopping any exercise program.
2. These Terms and the in-app agreement
Using Magis also requires you to accept the Magis Participation Agreement, Assumption of Risk, and Release of Liability, which is presented to you inside the app and which you must agree to before you can train. That agreement covers assumption of risk and release of liability, and it continues to apply in full alongside these Terms. Where the two documents describe the same thing, such as what Magis is and is not, they say the same thing. If they ever appear to conflict on the risks of exercise, the in-app agreement governs.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use Magis. By using Magis you confirm that you are. Magis is not intended for, and we do not knowingly collect information from, anyone under 18.
4. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has accessed it. The information you give us should be accurate, because the programming Magis suggests is built from it.
5. AI-generated programming
Some or all of your programming may be generated by artificial intelligence from the information you provide. AI can make mistakes and can suggest activities that are not appropriate for your particular circumstances. Programming is offered as a suggestion, never as an instruction, and you decide whether any given workout is appropriate and safe for you before you perform it. You are responsible for your own form, your equipment, your environment, and for modifying, skipping or stopping anything that does not feel safe.
6. If you work with a coach
Your coach is an independent party, responsible for their own programming and professional conduct. Magis provides the platform that connects you and your coach; Magis does not provide, supervise, endorse, or guarantee your coach's programming, advice, or qualifications, and is not responsible or liable for it. Any dispute about your coach's services is between you and your coach.
7. Acceptable use
Use Magis for your own training. Do not use it unlawfully, do not attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours, do not interfere with or disrupt the service, do not scrape or bulk-extract content, and do not resell or redistribute the service without our written permission.
8. Content and ownership
You keep ownership of the training data, notes and measurements you record in Magis. You grant us permission to store and process that information as needed to operate the service and to generate your programming, as described in our Privacy Policy. Magis, including its software, design, and the wordmark, remains ours.
9. No guarantee of results
Magis makes no promise or guarantee of any particular fitness, health, weight or performance result. Results vary for many reasons outside our control.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
Magis is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any content will be accurate or complete.
11. Limitation of liability
This section is being finalized with our attorney and is not yet in effect. It will be published here when that review is complete, and the date at the top of this page will change.
12. Dispute resolution
This section is being finalized with our attorney and is not yet in effect. It will be published here when that review is complete, and the date at the top of this page will change.
13. Class action waiver
This section is being finalized with our attorney and is not yet in effect. It will be published here when that review is complete, and the date at the top of this page will change.
14. Termination
You can stop using Magis and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms or if we need to for legal or security reasons. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, such as ownership, disclaimers and limitations of liability, do survive it.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. If any provision is found unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted and the remaining provisions stay in full force.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as Magis develops. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. Material changes to the in-app agreement are handled separately: you are asked to read and accept that agreement again inside the app.
